  1. Hello!

I'm from England, and I'm sorry to say that numbers 2, 5 and 8 are just totally incorrect :/ I'll give you some information so that you can learn more!

2 = The Queen is not the "leader" of the UK, and we don't have a King (her husband is called the Prince Consort). She is the Head of State, which is really only symbolic. The one who decides the laws is the UK's Prime Minister. Did you know she is the Head of State of 15 other countries, including Australia, New Zealand and Canada? However, just like in the UK, those places have their own governments that create laws.

5 = We have just as much crime as anywhere else in the world, especially in cities like London, Birmingham and Glasgow, where there are some extremely unsafe areas. And so many people are miserable and rude here, they are not happy at all... this could be because of the bad weather and the way the government treats anybody who is not upper-class.

8 = There are no "mountains beside the sea". The highest mountain we have is only about 1300m tall, and it's in Scotland. Apart from some hills as you travel further north, the landscape of England is dull and flat.

One more thing - Scottish people ARE British (I'm referring to what you wrote at the beginning). Did you mean "English, Irish, and Scottish people"? You shouldn't forget the Welsh either, they are also British.

It's sweet that you wrote this, but I don't want you to be disappointed if you ever get to come here ;)
